School Development Program

Description:
It is a model to enable schools to lead and manage their development processes through conducting self-reviews to define their
strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and priorities. The review aims to enable schools to develop plans in order to improve the teaching
and learning process, thus becoming learning organizations that produce knowledge and provide secure, attractive, and supportive
environments which meet the needs of learners and the nation in general.
Accomplishments in 2015
• Provided e-training for (1296) supervisors on the program components ( Developing a Plan, Follow-up and Assessment and

   Community Partnerships)
• Conducted (329) workshops on-site for (7460) teachers and school principals using the core components (Partnership, Counseling,

  Activities, Priorities and Motivation)
• Held (4) forums to share expertise and experiences in Sabia (male), Madina (female) and Eastern Province (male and female )
• Successfully piloted the program and assessment units
