Special Education

Description:
• Equipped a number of schools to provide educational services to various categories of disabled children through applying the
comprehensive inclusion model while taking into account reducing operating costs for such schools.
• Provided professional development for all parties involved in the inclusive education process through outsourcing to international
and local think tanks to conduct workshops, training courses and the development of excellent internal competencies.
• Oriented the community on disabled individuals and their rights and responsibilities towards them through media campaigns.

Accomplishments in 2015
• Developed an integrated model for implementing inclusive education
• Trained (170) trainers on the Counsel for Exceptional Children (CEC) Program
• Prepared and equipped (6) schools to implement the inclusive education model
• Developed the Special Education Organizational Manual
• Developed (3) reference manuals
• Developed (3) operational manuals
• Employed (14) Assistant Teachers
• Developed the Special Education Operational Manual
