TEACHING STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

DESCRIPTION:

This project is implemented in partnership with an organization specialized in special needs educa-
tion. A number of models for integrating children with special needs into regular public schools will
be developed. Reference manuals will be used in schools which cover the basic framework, and all the
principles, regulations, standards, requirements, processes, and the procedures that guarantee the
preparation of target schools to become a model environment for integrated education.

FUNDAMENTAL OUTCOMES

  Preparation of a number of special education teachers to become qualified practitioners to help
  apply “integration” in schools
  Provision of professional development programs for teachers and school leaders in schools to apply
  the integration model.
