EVALUATION AND ASSESSMENT OF TEACHERS

DESCRIPTION:

This project is considered one of the first implemented projects in collaboration with King Abdullah
Bin Abdulaziz Project for Public Education Development, T4EDU, the Ministry of Education, and
Qiyas. This project aims to professionalize teaching through building national standards for the selec-
tion process and the needs analysis of professional development for new teachers, so as to improve
their knowledge and skills in education.

FUNDAMENTAL OUTCOMES

Provision of clearly defined evaluation standards for teachers
Improved selection process of candidate teachers
Effective analysis the professional development needs of new teachers
High quality teacher preparation programs in colleges of education
