PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS

DESCRIPTION:

This project aims to build a complete program for professional development related to the teachers’ career
path to improve their performance to the highest levels based on accredited professional standards. The goal
is to bridge the gap between what the teachers have learned in theory and how it is applied in practice.
A number of products and services based on blended learning have been developed along with user manuals,
training packages, and online training programs, allowing the teacher to do field practice as needed. Teach-
ers are encouraged to attend professional development programs and be qualified as master trainers. The
project provides quality assurance for face-to-face and online professional development programs in all
district offices

FUNDAMENTAL OUTCOMES

Qualified teachers with excellent pedagogical skills based on professional standards
Enhanced teacher’s confidence in their skills and capabilities in the teaching/learning
Positive awareness among new teachers in their first years of teaching
