SCHOOL CLUBS FOR EDUCATIONAL AND
RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES PROGRAM
DESCRIPTION:
The School Clubs Program equips neighborhood schools with the resources needed to conduct recrea-
tional activities that target students, but also engages the community at large. These school clubs
provide services in the evenings after school hours, where school leaders welcome visitors from differ-
ent backgrounds and interests. The goal of these clubs is to develop different skill areas and allow
visitors to invest in their time, enjoy their hobbies, and build a good social network. Another goal is
to help in building an excellent and stable character, leading to successful social integration among
community members in a safe, conducive-to-learning environment

New opportunities to do sport and recreational activities for school neighborhood residents
Enhanced nationalism and volunteer opportunities for the youth
Positive relationships among neighborhood residents
Effective communication channels between the community and the public and private sectors
