Computer and Information Technology Curriculum Development

Description:
The program designs and develops the curricula for computer and information technology in addition to developing national
curriculum standards and enhancing teachers‘ competencies. This includes the development of the student›s textbook, student›s
activity book and the teacher›s manual along with the development of enrichment programs. The program contributes to the
professional development of the supervisors for computer and information technology in Saudi schools. The new curricula computer
and information technology curricula will be implemented in schools soon.

Accomplishments in 2015
• Developed the computer and information technology curricula for middle school, and computer 1 textbook
• Trained (6500) computer teachers on using the new curricula
