AND DISTRICT OFFICES

‫ظ‬ DESCRIPTION:

This Program aims to enable teachers, schools, and educational district offices to lead the process of develop-

ment. These schools will be learning institutions that produce knowledge in a congenial, supportive, and

welcoming environment and will meet the needs and interests of learners who are the pivot of the learning

process.

Developed public schools as independent institutions, responsible for improving performance internally
Efficient schools that can improve the learning and teaching process and its outcome
Balanced decentralized approach

IMPLEMENTATION PHASES OF THE SCHOOL DEVELOPMENT MODEL IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS

PHASE 1: The establishment stage from 2011 to 2013, where 210 schools were selected in 7 office district
offices across Saudi Arabia
PHASE 2: : The expansion stage where the school development model has been applied in 900 schools in 27
educational district offices
